I am going to tell you about the Be Brave Bracelet the one I received was the light pink one and basically the meaning behind it is just that telling you to keep the positivity and be brave.
Our Story
In the early 1990s, my mom and I created angel pins as gifts for hospital workers who cared for my dad during his battle with cancer. They were not only an expression of our gratitude, but were a way for us to share a positive message of love and hope during a very difficult time in our lives. We named the pins after my daughter, Alexa, who was a newborn at the time, and truly an angel to our family.
Soon, others were asking for the pins – these small, wearable reminders of comfort and hope – and it was a natural step to consider how to reach a bigger group of people. I created more jewelry designs that incorporated meaningful messages, and started attending art shows across the country. New doors opened as more and more customers showed their appreciation for my pieces, and Alexa’s Angels, the company, was born!
Since those early beginnings, the company has steadily expanded our line of jewelry and accessories, always with the goal of inspiring heartfelt emotions and nurturing a sense of well-being. We believe it’s important to create products with a message to connect and uplift – the true inspiration behind every piece we design.
Alexa’s Angels is now the workplace of a growing team of “Angels” located in Windsor, Colorado, and my mom still crafts the Original Angel Pins by hand from her home in South Carolina. As the company has grown, so have our opportunities to reach out to our local community – and beyond – with our messages of love and hope. The Angel Team is dedicated to creating, finding and supporting programs that benefit women, and our mission is to be a great example of how a socially responsible company can make a difference.
