Disclosure: I had received a complimentary Disney Side @Home Celebration Kit from Disney Parks and BSM Media. All thoughts are my own.
I was really excited to find out we were approved for the Disney Side Home Celebration Party!! The kit we got was the Cars Theme + Disney items. My kid's were so excited to see we were going to have a cars theme party with lots of stuff!!! This is our first Disney Side Celebration and hope to be able to do this next year also..
I couldn't tell you how excited both kid's were for this party. I got a photo of my son by all the stuff my daughter of course was at school!
And even though it was cars theme my daughter really enjoyed this party too. I think because it had a toss up between that and Mickey Mouse "Disney".
We got a ton of items in our party pack that included:
Plates, cups, napkins, stickers, watch, memory cars game, goodie bags, placemats, table clothes, cupcake stand, cars decorations.
Other items:
Jake and the Neverland pirates coloring book and crayons.
Disney Puzzle
We had fun with the cake we received tie dye cake mix with some sprinkles and I had some frosting at home because I love to bake. As you can see I mixed up the batter with six different colors this is something new to me and I really enjoyed making this cake.
I really loved the whole process of layering the cake batter for the tie dye cake. We had our party on a Saturday and went all out the kid's had a blast!!!
The ending result of the cake we decided to go with a solid color and the kid's really enjoyed it. Of course it's really hard to get a good red color so we used the Orange.
So I got this idea off of Youtube for the Mickey Ears my daughter was really excited to have these done. So they didn't come out the way I wanted them to but seeing this was my first time doing it I think I did pretty great!!!
We has some Minnie Ears we got from Disney last year and my son is a sport for wearing them for the picture. They has so much fun.
Here is some of our set up so on Pinterest they had cars theme parties were they has special drinks and I choose to label this one anti-freeze appropriate for the party theme right??
I thought it was a really good idea!
The kid's set up really a small set up but who says you can't have fun with a few people?? For our food we choose to get something really simple and got pizza rolls and tator tots which the kid's loved but what kid's don't love them.
It was a beautiful day in Florida so we decided to take the games outside. We got a blanket and set outside. Played all the games that we received. Disney Bingo was a good one we all loved it.
I take lots of photo's so I hope you don't mind all the pictures!!
The next game was the fortune teller game and this one reminded me of my childhood you know when you fold up the paper just like this both the kids loved this game too.
I hope everyone likes our Disneyside Party I can't wait to hopefully do this again next year!!!
I want to thank everyone from Disney Home Celebration and DisneySide for all the wonderful goodies!!
