I am really excited to tell you about our experience with Duffy's Sports Grill when I had the opportunity to do a tasting of their new surf and turf menu I was hands-down all for it. Basically this is a seafood and steak menu. Me and my husband were both able to sample their items first I want to tell you I was able to try their Ahi tuna poke bowl which included sushi grade yellow fin tuna, that was hand cut and tossed in a signature poke sauce it was served over cilantro lime rice and top with avocado scallions and toasted sesame seeds I have to tell you this poke bowl was pretty amazing. To be honest with you I have never had tuna like this before and was kind of nervous but it was amazing. I couldn't even taste the tuna and everything blended well together and the serving size is definitely something that will fill you up. I would highly suggest trying out these bowls if you are going there for the first time and like tuna.
Now for what hubby was able to try was their prime steak salad I was able to test this out too my husband filled up pretty quick on this but this salad was amazing they had different types of lettuce and had spinach also it had A bunch of different things that were really good he definitely would recommend this salad and to top it off there were onion rings on top very thinly cut.
And the other item he was able to try was the 24 ounce prime New York strip he was also allowed to get two sides and he chose french fries and coleslaw. He was able to finish it all he said the steak was cooked perfect and he enjoyed the flavor and the gravy type sauce that came with it was really tasty. Everything was hot and fresh and didn't take long to cook at all everything was perfect.
The last things we were able to try was a couple of their new cocktails Pear..fect martini this had hand muddled pear fresh sour mix and St. Germain elderflower liqueur this is the one I was able to try and I have to tell you it's amazing it did taste like pear also it had like a cinnamon type a taste like the type on honey buns. I just loved it. My husband was able to try that Apple Tart -ini and he also really liked it I tried a sip of his and it tasted really good and me. The service was great the waiters were great and the whole restaurant was amazing. I really love their atmosphere it kinda reminds me of an upscale Beef O' Brady's. I saw they had wings on the menu and other stuff like that.
All in all I give this restaurant a A+++ I absolutely enjoyed it and will definitely be returning to try out their other food items. They also have this thing where you take a selfie of yourself in the restaurant with a drink of choice #duffysselfie to win prizes!!
