I have been to Bonefish Grill before and I was really excited to have the opportunity to review their new remodeling in Lakeland Florida. First I'm gonna tell you a little bit about the remodel and then I will get into the dishes and the service. Now, I have been to Bonefish Grill before but not the Lakeland one.
So they explained a little bit to me what they had remodeled and I took some beautiful pictures to show you. We were seated in the dining area and it was really beautiful what caught my attention is the mural on the wall in front of us. It is this beautiful blue color that just brightens up the whole restaurant and has some fish along the wall.
Now the waitress explained how they redid this area to open it up and make it brighter. I don't have any before pictures from before the remodel but as you can see it is very roomy inside their dining area. Now another Bonefish Grill I went to close to home it was very dark and almost required candlelight, however, the restaurant in Lakeland was really bright you could see every where you're going and it just made the place feel welcoming.

Another thing I really liked about the restaurant and it was kind of shocking but if you're going for dinner I would recommend heading there around 330 or 4 o'clock it is not packed at all for a weekend. However, it could change week to week. After we got there about 15 minutes the people started coming in. So to be honest with you. It was a really great time that we picked to come in.
Now to get started on the food. They had a decent selection on their summer menu it was hard to choose which one I wanted. They start you out with drinks and bread and we went ahead and ordered their bang bang shrimp One of their most popular appetizers. Of course, this tasted amazing basically it is this season shrimp with an amazing sauce on a bed of lettuce.
So after looking through the menu, I chose the Cod Piccata and you can have it paired with cold water lobster tail with your choice of two sides or you can choose it with lobster stuffed shrimp. Of course, I chose mine with the lobster stuffed shrimp and my sides were the garlic mashed potatoes and broccoli. Everything was perfect and tasted amazing. My husband chose the filet and lobster tail summer duo he chose the 6-ounce wood grilled filet mignon
paired with a cold water lobster tail for his sides he chose mashed potatoes and rice pilaf. He also said it tasted amazing and everything was cooked perfectly.
Besides the food the service was amazing they kept up with our drinks and made sure to ask if we wanted more bread. If you're in the Lakeland Florida area I highly recommend checking out this restaurant Bonefish Grill it is pretty amazing and the service is excellent. And I really love their remodeling of the restaurant.
